Promox Box

Today, I made the decision to make Corinth (formally my play/test Ubuntu Server machine) a Proxmox Box and take the leap into learning Proxmox to potentially implement it into my network in the future. For now, the plan is to run at least one Ubuntu Server instance on it to run an SMB share connected to an existing NAS device (an old WD My Cloud) which would, if it works the way I’m thinking, replace Onyx (my current personal NAS box). If all goes well with the learning process, I may think about downsizing the physical setup of the network and running Proxmox to handle everything that I currently have running. Let’s see how that goes. I’ll keep you updated.
